What is the process for making your stickers?▼
All our sticker designs are inspired by Japanese folklore and pop culture, and by the amazing things we have seen during our trips to Japan. The pixel art aesthetics comes from our love for retro gaming (mainly '80s and '90s). It's incredible what video game artists could achieve with a limited colour palette and low screen resolutions!
The designs are created using a simple Macbook Pro's trackpad and a great pixel art tool called Aseprite. We send the designs to a third party company, which offers printing of really high quality stickers in a variety of materials and sizes. We might eventually move to in-house production as the business grows.
Do you use generative AI?▼
This question hasn’t really been asked that often, as we are confident that our work, despite being comprised of a small amount of pixels, looks human-made, and we always hope that our passion shines through everything that we do. Nevertheless, given the extent to which the creative world is being impacted by the ever-present generative AI, we feel it’s important that we make our stance clear: we absolutely do not use generative AI for any part of our process. Everything you receive in a Turuturin order has been designed and drawn with love by a human.
We believe generative AI has no place in the creative process. We aim to connect with our customers at a human level through our work, and are confident that this is also what our customers seek.
Where do you ship and how?▼
Currently, we only ship to the UK using Royal Mail Tracked 48®. We plan to gradually expand our delivery area.

What is the refund policy?▼
We can offer a refund only if items are damaged or missing when you receive the package. In this case please contact us to get a refund or a replacement.
We can’t offer refunds if you’ve accidentally ordered a different quantity, size or material than intended. Please double check your cart before ordering.
